LO is 5.5 months and is still not yet reaching for objects purposefully. She will hold objects if held close to her hand and bring it to her mouth. She will hold on clothes and me when feeding or being carried but she won't reach out for objects. Other than that seems to be developing fine - rolling over, sitting with assistance, bearing weight on legs, babbling etc. Should i be concerned? A lot of her peers have been reaching for things for some time. Just wondering if anyone else has had similar experience? Will mention to GP at 6 month vaccinations.

My son does this exact same thing. He is almost 5 months but a little younger. He seems to often grab his bib and other material like things. Are your daughter's hands often clenched??? My son;s still are very clenched so was just wondering if that was the reason why.
