So we ripped up the carpet in the hall just outside the bathroom and the underlay and concrete floor looked a little damp - nothing too major but the plumber we called out says maybe it's a once off flood, or else a really slow leak.

Anyway he sealed the shower with clear silicone stuff (probably could have gone to Bunnings and done it ourselves and saved a hundred bucks!) but now the mould gets in the silicone and I can't scrub it off. So all along the floor and up the corners my shower is really mouldy and it's gross!

Is there another type of sealant you can get that doesn't get mould trapped in it? It's like to pull this other stuff up as it's driving me bonkers cos I hate unclean showers.
