Kindle Fire, Where to buy?

I want to buy a Kindle Fire but am finding them hard to source....Amazon is the obvious place but they won't ship to Australia and I refuse to use the third party address system due to their ridiculous prices. There is only one online retailer, besides eBay that I can buy it but I'd rather walk into a store and buy one. I've tried d*ck Smith online, Myer online, DJs online, JB HiFi online etc. and they all have the basic Kindle models but not the Kindle Fire. Anyone have any idea where I can buy one?

The content for kindle fires isn't available in oz yet, so even if you get your hands on one, things like movies etc are only available through amazon, which won't give you access since you're I'm Australia. There are rumors the fire will be released here this year sometime, but unless you're willing to wait until amazon does that, you won't find any in big department stores.
