So last month I got my period (long like 10 days, heavy but this seems normal since having kids) and after about two weeks I got it again for a couple of days. Then I got my normal period again.

It then went for ten days, I had one week off and now I am bleeding again and also have period pain.

Yes I am going to the dr as soon as I get home I was just wondering if anyone else has this.

I am not pregnant (DH is fixed up) I am not on any hormonal medication.

Anyone?

Fembo, not tart.
Have you been under a lot of stress lately? This hot weather has set my body upside down. I haven't had a period for 3 years since using the Mirena...... Until yesterday sad.gif

Yeah I was wondering if I was just out of wack. It was a big year and these two incidents have been while on school hols so not stress so much but maybe releaseof stress and out of routine. This time the period pain is really significant where as last time it was non existent.

My war paint is Sharpie ink
I had 2 periods a month for about 6 months about a year after having my first child. They checked me out for retained placenta (all clear) and then popped me on the pill for a few months. That did the trick. It was awful while it lasted. Very tiring.

I used to have spotting in between for a couple of days but not pain. Mine was related to endometritis. Were you previously on the pill prior to your DH's vasectomy?

Had something similar myself -- it wasn't anything serious in the end, but the doctor stressed the absolute importance of getting it checked out. While it's generally nothing, it can be a sign of more serious issues.

Glad to hear you're going to the doctor original.gif

I can't take pill/Merina any hormonal contraceptive. Girls are 6 and 7 so not post pregnancy related. Periods have always been an issue for me and break through bleeding when ever I try contraception not to mention constant bleeding with Merina mad.gif so I am assuming maybe something hormonal. My mum is freeking cause I have had two pap smears in the past that have been "cervical erosions" and I was due last September but just have not had the time to get it done (been playing on my mind though as I am usually really good due to said past anomalies). Now am hanging to get khome tomorrow and make gp appointment. Assume he will not be able to do a smear due to current bleeding though?

Edited for terrible iPad typing
