I have all our appointments next week to find out what our action plan is for our first round of IVF, so I will have an answer then, but was wondering if anyone could give me some idea of what it will involve, as I have no idea!!
I've been on the BCP for 4 weeks now (is this called down reg or something?). When I spoke to the FS in Oct he talked about having to use nasal spray to suppress everything and then having injections. The nurse called yesterday and was only talking about injections. So can anyone enlighten me to what sort of cycle to expect? And what sort of drugs I'll have to use? I know we're booked in for EPU and ET for the second week in Feb. (And yes I know I'll have an answer next week, I'd just like a bit of an idea now as even though I've read a heap of stuff I still feel pretty clueless about it all! |

Hi,
How did the appointment go? I noticed you have blocked tubes and endo which is the same as me. I'm going in for a lap again next week to remove endo and adhesions and attempt to unblock tubes. Did you have anyone attempt to unblock yours? We're you given the same success rate for IVF with the endo? |

Hi,
Everything went well, have had egg pick up and just waiting for transfer on Saturday. My FS attempted to unblock my tubes but said they were unrepairable. He said all the damage was at the opening where the ovaries are so it was too hard to fix. He said he was pretty confident with IVF as he removed most of the endo and he said as I had no hormonal issues that it should be fairly straight forward. So far things have gone to plan. Good luck |

Thanks very much for the reply
My gynae is not at all positive about being able to unblock my tubes.. Mine are block close to the uterus. I'll know in a week if they are able to be repaired. Good luck for the rest of the IVF cycle! I look forward to another post from you! |
