To annoy my husband - yes, this is like a hobby - and for general reference, I need the most American names there are.

I don't recognize them. I think of them as, you know, names. This first came up over Wyatt. I love Wyatt, but am not allowed to put it on the list as it is "excessively American."

I'm also always intrigued by what gets panned as "too American" - I must say, some of them are "just ugly" or completely unknown to me until I moved out here. Do not put Taylah on my list - we name girls just Taylor.

So far my Yankeelicious list includes:

Boys
Wyatt
Chip, Chuck
Levi
DaShawn
Tyrone, Tyriq, Tyrese, Tyrell, and Tyson.
Jedidiah, Jeremiah.
Cannon, Maverick

Girls
Liberty
Betsy
Shaniqua
Summer
Keisha and assorted Kesha/Ikesha/Lakeisha

Note: I only actually personally like some of these names, but its good to have for reference purposes, and also I am deeply, deeply bored and being idle, and it's now officially Saturday FLUFF.

EDIT: Dang it, my strikethrough didn't work and now I look dumb. Fine, Fairfax, it's Saturday fluff. Friday was not literal. FFFF.

DH volunteers Buddy, as well. Forgot it on the original list.

Is that Randy for the boy's side or the girl's?

Todd and Hank would stand out for me. As for girls, I'm not sure maybe Charity or Faith.

Not Hank! *wails*

I love Henry NN Hank and DH insists its really really American to do this, even though Henry is not exclusively American? Or something.
