Hello Ladies!
Posting here for my friend (okayed with her to give out her boys names) who is due with another little boy in about two months. She has three boys already and has run out of names So far she has Callum Duncan Lachlan Peter Euan Robin Her DH is from Scotland so they want to add another traditonal Scottish name, middle name not so fussed. Most of the boys middle names are for someone close to them. Their surname is a single syllable starting with S, so she's ruled out James, Finn and most other one syllable names. Any ideas? |

Hamish
Alastair/Alasdair Patrick Angus I think for the middle I would go more traditional-UK-ish in general than strictly Scottish (not just because I'm running out of Scottish names I know...) like Christopher or Zachary or something like that. Alastair is my favourite. It is a Scottish form of Alexander. |

Thanks guys, lots of options there. I also suggested Alastair or even Alexander for baby 3 but was shot down - and apparently every friend in Scotland has a boy named Finn!
I really like a lot of those names, I'm sure it will help them decide, she's very picky! EFS This post has been edited by PreachersWife: 11/01/2013, 09:26 PM |
