Hi girls,
I was wondering if anyone has had the same issue as we are having with our swift wheels/tyres? Loads of punctures and when fixing the puncture i have had to put the tyre back on the wheel and damaged the tyre, the rubber came away from the metal and now my pram has a wobble when pushing. I have purchased a new tyre and want to get that put on so i can use the pram again. Anyone ever filled their tyres with foam or anything to stop the actual puncture as i cant keep having my pram out of action? Its a great pram, nothing wrong with it i dont want to sell it, but its getting to the point where im thinking of selling just so i can get a different pram. So if anyone has any ideas please let me know. spottydog. |

We have an old MB Urban but never had problems with punctures etc. It is from 2004 though, so will be checking the wheels soon for the next batch of use expected.

Have you replaced all the tyres? If you have and they are still getting punctured, then maybe it's related to how you're using it? You're not exceeding the weight limit are you?
I have a 2007 Urban (NZ model). I bought it 2nd hand, and I have changed the tyres once. I do have to pump them up occasionally but they don't get punctured. |

And i take gutters roughly and drive it pretty hard off road. |

How high are you pumping the inner tube? The wheels say 35 psi but the guy at our bike shop told us inner tubes at that size are very sensitive and not to go above 25. We haven't had a problem since.

Thanks everyone,
Its a NZ one, from 2009. We dont pump up the tyres too much, and they are defenatly punctures from things like thorns or glass etc, we generally use it at the shops, a day out to the park etc. DD was 15kgs last time we used it and wasnt being overloaded. I think we were just unlucky. I have only bought one new tyre and two new inner tubes I think i may take it to a bike shop to get the new tyre fitted and if i get more punctures pop into the bike shop and have them replace it for me, as it was too expensive to buy a new tyre, (the metal from the inside of the tyre is what came away if that makes sense. Thanks. |

I have a 2010 china one and never had a problem. Only had to pump the tyres up once in that time.
