I need a carseat for my little one (he is in a capsule at the moment).

My nearly two year old is in a Meridian, which has been a great seat so I was just going to get another one of those, but I have seen a few people recommend the new Compaq.

Can anyone tell me the benefits of the new Compaq over the Meridian?

TIA

Compaq slimmer design. Compaq head protection goes all th way up (meridian does this with the AHR, but that is separate to the main part of the seat).

Compaq had heigher height markers both RF and FF although people are reporting new models of the Meridian have been updated with higher ones. Take a tape measure with you and measure the I thermal heigh if the seat to the height markers for comparison.

Meridian is easy adjust from front. Compaq is easy adjust from the back.

Compaq is a much slimmer seat. It also takes up less room when RF. compaq you are more likely to get 3 across with in the future. The meridian highly unlikely to be ina 3 across.

Meridian we know gets 4 stars for safety Ff (no rea change from 2004 standard model apart from height markers), compaq is a totally new seat so we don't know how it tests.
