I get two weird feelings:

1. Uterine contractions - probably BH, BUT I've got them since the week I got my IVF BFP (so under 4 weeks pregnant). They used to be about once or twice a week and now they've increased to many times a day

2. Back spasms - I get about a 30 second painful period, with pain dotting all over my mid back. I wondered if it was kidneys or something. They started about 4 weeks ago and were a couple of times a week, but are now a couple of times a day. During the 30 seconds, I don't do anything, just sit still. Once that period is up, I'm fine with no pain.

So, what do your BH feel like and do either of these sound familiar? Thanks

I have had BH contractions from early on. Now 35 weeks and they are increasing to many times a day and they are a bit sore. Like period pain.
They are not regular and they don't go any further than that.
I told the Obyn and he wasn't concerned even thought have been.
I had them with DD2 too and she was born at 39 weeks when I was induced with no labour. So I don't think it means early labour

I've had Braxton hicks at 17 weeks where my uterus was so tight and sore I couldn't walk properly. Then I've had occasions when it gets tighter with no pain. Then on Saturday evening I had the back pain last for a couple of minutes. It was like horrible period pain. Almost took my breath away. Then it went away and was fine again.

I would describe BH as everything going really tight and like a squeezing sensation around your uterus. Had them on and off for a number of weeks now.

I haven't had that many at this stage, but there is no pain with them, just a very strong tightening of the muscles around the uterus. My whole belly is really tight, and then it gradually fades.
