Is it becoming too popular?

What sort of child/person/traits do you associate with the name Dexter?

Is it too serial killer now - despite the fact he is a lovely serial killer!!

Doesn't appeal to me. I don't have any associations for it. And maybe that's why it doesn't appeal; it sorta just lacks... Sorry can't express it any better.

ETA I'd say it's on trend and 'growing' but not to any significant degree.

WEeellll the tv series only has one season to go, so by the time the bubs is older, maybe that'll be old news! original.gif It's a good name, but I may be biased, as I had a dog called Dexter once.

It doesn't really do it for me either. I still can't help thinking of the Perfect Match robot.

On the downside, I think robot and serial killer.

On the upside there is always Dexter Fletcher, who played Spike on BBC/ABC tv show "Press Gang".

I don't think it's overly common. It's definitely too serial killer for me . Sure kids born today might not make the association but I do
