My DD isn't teething but I'm wondering if an amber necklace would help her sleep better? I've read that you can get anklets which of course would be safer. She's going through 4 month sleep regression so it may just need to run its course but I'm willing to try anything that may help!

Hi there

I don't have an answer but will be watching your thread with interest!

I've heard mixed reviews myself but I don't think it has been scientifically proven or not - if that makes sense.

Enlightenment is the best revenge
I never used one for my DS, however I know my 11 mo nephew wears one all the time (including to bed). He sleeps absolutely dreadfully, so it's certainly not helping him original.gif

Elmo_mum read my post properly and you will see that I mention an anklet for that very reason.
I have friends that swear by them for teething but no idea about sleep.

My son wears his necklace 24/7 since around 5 months.
It has not helped sleep
It has not helped teething ( almost 1 just have first tooth poking through)
In general does nothing at all for him - now I just think it looks cute !

I think you've got nothing to lose using an anklet. It might make no difference, but if it does help, great!
