Pretty please biggrin.gif ??

I am asking on behalf of my husband (but also on my behalf to save me living with him stressing all night Tounge1.gif)

He took his car for a service on Monday, got in the car and drove it home and parked it. Car has been in the garage untouched since as he is on holidays and we have been driving my car.

Tonight he went to put some stuff away in the garage and has noticed his bonnet is out if alignment on one side. Looking at the car head on, the right side sits perfectly flush, but on the left hand side there is a gap of about 5mm.

This most definitely was not the case before he dropped it off. He knows every inch of his car (about 6 months old) and washes it and details it weekly. It's the first brand new car he has ever owned and honestly it's like his second baby.

There is no sign of any panel damage at all, no chips or scuffs that could account for it, so the process of elimination says that something has most likely happened while the hood has been raised during the service. But the question is what?!!

What could have been done to cause this and how can it be fixed? (Oh and yes he has opened and closed the hood a few times to make sure that it wasn't just poorly closed)

Obviously we plan on taking the car back to the dealership tomorrow, but I know DH he will stew and fret on this ALL night, which in turn will make my life miserable having to live with Mr grumpy, so if any EBer (or their partner) can shed any light it will be most appreciated by me original.gif

Thankyou.
