TinyTeddys that's a pretty good looking list, good luck with keeping up with it. I think it was easier when the DIGs were split in 2!

(As noone claimed Gold or bronze can I? wink.gif )

Glad that the hot weather has eased off for a day or two, and that I was in the office yesterday for the heatwave, so I only had to deal with the night time and feeling so so hot. Luckily someone at work offered me a lift home too, the thought of getting the train yesterday was horrific.

I'm not sure how I'm going to make it to 8 months on public transport - with DD my OB gave me a letter so work let me drive in (yay) but we've moved house and it's a long way in peak hour traffic in and out of the office, I'm not sure I could be bothered. Remind me of that in July...

I'm still really hungry, one of the guys saw me with 2 lunches yesterday in the office - I was like "oh they're very small these portions" which they are but I'm sure he saw through me (he has 3 kids). Will see how long I can keep it under wraps.

I had my IRL mothers' group today and I was dying to tell a couple of them - there are at least 3 of them p/g. But I thought I should wait until we were a bit further along, perhaps 9 weeks, or when I see the ob. God that's 5 weeks away.

cassidysmummy I don't know how on earth you've coped with MIL for that long. Why is she staying SO long? I quite like my MIL but after 1 month of them visiting when DD was about 4 months old I was about ready to go mad, and they didn't even stay with us. You're amazing.

kmdoll sorry to hear your news, be kind to yourself

Ok so I am freaking out here. DD & I went to a friend's house today, they have a pet cat & a stray who is quite friendly. My DD was quite taken by them & interacted with them a lot in the few hours we were there. I completely forgot about the risk of toxoplasmosis and now I'm really worried. I have been tested before and don't have immunity for it. I understand it is only passed through contact with cat faeces, I am just worried that DD may have come into contact with cat faeces today unbeknowns to me & passed it on. Does anyone know much about toxoplasmosis & the odds of it being passed on in a situation like this?

Apple&seed I'm probably not much use as I've actually had it (my dad was a vet, we always had cats etc etc, who knows how I actually got it) - but I'm sure as long as you & DD wash your hands thoroughly you'll be fine.
