Is anyone around a Club Lime member? Tuggeranong in particular?

Just after some feedback about the 'feel' of the club, I had a quick tour this evening, and while it looks great, it seemed like it was just full of 'beautiful people' IYKWIM?
I fee like I'd be really out of place because I'm not already a size 8 & tanned... of course, that could just be my insecurities talking, but still - any feedback?

I'm a member and my husband works there (without giving myself away).
The early mornings are busy but the evenings are HELL on earth - sooo busy. It's not so bad at the moment due to holidays etc, but it's much worse towards the end of January through to December.
The beautiful people tend to congregate in the evenings. Lol. You can pm me for more details if you like.
What time of day are you planning to go?

Thanks Mrs_Snorks - I would have been considering the evenings/nights, leaving the kids with DH, but it it's that busy, I could use the creche during the day or go early in the mornings (if I can drag my butt out of bed!)

There seems to be a bit of equipment available, I'm mostly interested in the cardio stuff, not so much weights.
I could try my best to ignore the beautiful people!

I go during the day, around 1-2pm, hubby trains 9-10.30 am, both times pretty empty. Debbie, the creche lady is great.
Cardio machines galore during the day. Morning isn't too bad either but people have said it's getting busier.

Fab, thanks again.
I'll aim for later mornings I think.

Also glad to hear the creche lady is great - I've never left DS with anyone but DH before!

I'm not a beautiful person, and go when not pregnant original.gif
What about Club Pink? A little more relaxed and you get free creche passes.

I was a member and usually went at about 7pm. It was pretty quiet. There were plenty of men (mostly men) working on their muscles which I always found rather intriguing to watch. There were some slim fit women but also many just like myself. I am very body conscious but I never felt intimidated by it. Truthfully I felt worse at Fernwood, packed with women who look more like I wanted to.

I don't strive to compete with men physically, nor do I want to engage them socially so I find it less intimidating to work out looking at all the buff blokes than I do looking at twig women.

Thanks Nut & gemgirl.
I didn't really think about Club Pink - when I was there, no one really talked about it & TBH, I didn't even notice the door to it!

I ended up joining on a 'no contract' membership, and have been once - on saturday at midday, it was pretty quiet.
I think that helped things, being able to 'settle in' without a crowd of toned, fit girls lol.

Nut, I get what you mean too, it makes so much sense.
