I am currently using MCNs and would like to also use my own cloth wipes.

At the moment we have a pile of face washers that we wet with water and use to wipe down.

I was wondering if any crafty EBers have an idea for cloth wet wipes?

What would I stick I the water besides just water?
Should I use something else instead of face washers? As I am finding them too big for the job.

Rest assured the face washers aren't used for anything but cleaning bums

I use this recipe

4 tablespoons olive oil
16 squirts of baby wash
4 cups warm water
Few drops of lavender and teatree oil (leave out if bub has sensitive skin).

I store them in a refillable huggies wipes tub. Face washers are fine.

Works a treat, but others say plain water works perfectly well too.

I have always used regular facewashers for DD, specifically the ones you can get in the baby section of Big W as they are nice and thin. I also go through phases of using a foamy wipes wash likes these http://bubblebubs.com.au/retail/foamy-wipes-wash but plain water is usually fine.

My mum bought us a pile of face washers from Kmart - the tiny little wonders brand, in a pack of 12 I think. They are smaller than normal face washers, and a bit thinner, so I find them perfect for bum wiping.

The only down side is that they are a cotton blend (not pure cotton).

We only use water (although DS is only 6 weeks old, so only boob milk poo)

I'm using the baby face washers from target, they are small, $4 for a pack of ten and have 3 colours in the pack so I can colour code which are bum wipes and which are face wipes. I just use warm water but my change table is in the bathroom and I can reach the taps while changing.

I have started using Ethan's old flannelette muslin wrap things cut up. They work fine.

I'm not crafty but use bought wipes from Bubblebubs and Baby Bunting.

I have a pump 1L container of Sorbolene ($4ish from Priceline) and I squirt a little bit onto each wipe before use. (I know some people prefer more natural products to Sorbolene though.)
