We are looking at getting our 4yo a bike for her birthday. We would like it be 16". We've looked at Giant ones but they seem a bit exxy for something she'll grow out of in a couple of years and are overly girly so no good to hand down to our son
 It will have very little riding on smooth ground - mostly gravel roads etc. Would like a sturdy bike with a reasonable price (not asking much lol!)I'd love to know any brand you would recommend and any to steer clear of! Thanks |

If you're planning on passing it down to another child, then it might be worth spending the money on a Byk.
http://www.bykbikes.com/kids-bike-range/e350-kids-bike.html We bought the 450 for our daughter for her 5th birthday (she is a very tall child though), its wonderful. So light. |
