Just out of curiosity, I'm wondering how much other people are paying for their pregnancy management fees?

I just got the schedule of fees for my OB who works out of a private hospital on the Gold Coast and was quite pleased to see that the fee was $1700. I expected it to be much more than that. There is also about a $80 fee per appointment, as well as extra fees for specific scans that my OB is not able to perform in his rooms.

I would love to hear others fees as a bit of a comparison point

I am in Brisbane and my PM Fee is $2875. Visits are normally around $90 but they bulk bill me (perks of being the wife of a health professional wink.gif )

I'm in Perth and my OB charges $3500 for pg mgmt fee, and $170 for my first visit to him (not any subsequent ones). I then pay separately for any blood tests and the 12 and 18 week scans.

It's expensive but I would pay anything for my OB, it's worth it.

In Melbourne, my PM Fee was $2000. Visits were $50. This OB was well known for being cheaper than many of his compatriots at the private hospital I attended. And he was brilliant.

In Far North Queensland, I had no PM Fee, and my OB visits were bulk billed. This was still all done privately (hospital and private rooms). I'm not sure why this was the case, but I didn't complain!

I'm in Perth and my ob for DS's birth in 2011 was $1800 management fee and $115 per visit. I think it's increased since then though.
