The University of Queensland, The University of Sydney and Monash University have recently embarked on a five-year project funded by the National Health and Medical Research Council to evaluate the effectiveness of Triple P's Stepping Stones program in reducing behavioural and emotional problems in children with a disability across a population.

As part of the Stepping Stones Triple P Project, parents and caregivers of children with a disability (aged 2-12 years) will have access to the evidence-based parenting program, Stepping Stones Triple P FREE of charge. Professionals working with these families will also have the opportunity to nominate to receive FREE traning in SSTP Programs. In order to register interest in the project parents and caregivers of a child with a disability (aged 2-10 years) are invited to complete a survey about their parenting experiences by going to www.mysay.org.au.

Currently, the survey is only open to Queensland residents, but will become available for parents in Victoria later in 2013 and New South Wales in 2014. The project has received ethical approval by The University of Queensland (approval no. 2012001065) and is led by Professor Matt Sanders the founder of Triple P. For more information about the project, please contact the Queensland Project Team on (07) 3365 6499 or email steppingstones@psy.uq.edu.au. Additionally, please 'Like' us on Facebook for regular research updates.

Thank you so much for your support of our project! Please let me know if there is any other information you think would be helpful.

Warmest Regards

Cassie Rotolone
