> Warning.....spider!, with babies

I was photographing at some salt lakes on Sunday when I spotted a spider on a tree stump. Had the macro lens so took a few shots (had to get quite close, thank goodness it didnt move). When I uploaded I realised the "knobbly back" was actually its babies!!! Urggghhhhh. Its a wolf spider, and they adapt their appearance to the environment, hence it is white because of the salt....

I generally don't have an issue with spiders, but that makes me wants to vomit. So many eyes and spider babies :vom:

Great capture! I remember once finding a spider & thought the same.. that it was a "knobbly back".. & on closer inspection it was babies - eeek!

Another time I stood on my bath mat, not realising a mum with babes on board were underneath.. until they scurried & sprawled out all over the floor!!
