Ok my air con is set at 23, filters are all clean, but the stupid thing keep dripping inside when on. The hose outside still drips as normal.

I have rung an aircon repairer and was quoted $99 to come out and $99 per hour.

So I am trying to avoid paying that if it is something I can fix..

I have tried putting in on before the heat hits and it goes out, but once it gets about 25 outside it starts dripping inside.

Any ideas?

God help me tomorrow is going to be 42

We had that happen once, can't recall what it was but needed a repairer to come and fix it. Unfortunately it had dripped on our printer underneath before I realised.

Eeek. Have you checked how fast the outside hose is dripping? You can push a thin wire or something up it and see if it is partially blocked by mildew or something. That's what was causing water to leak out the front of our fridge!

Good luck with the weather tomorrow...ergh.

Hi you must have a blockage. It was happening to us we rang around and everyone was too busy and one guy told DH what to do. Sorry not exactly sure what he did but did it from the hose outside. Just check it is not blocked, cobwebs, leaves , dirt etc.

Check where your vents are pointed. If I point mine down too much they frost up and get wet.

Otherwise, yeah your outside connection might be blocked.

We've recently had this problem. The drip tray in the inside unit was filling up as the hose was mostly blocked with kitchen grime and gunk. Wasn't easy to get to or sort out, but with two sets of hands, we managed it.

The vents are point straight out, I have shoved some wire up the outside pipe, nothing came out. I have turned the unit back on and we will see what happens.
