Wow, after lots of attachment problems, a tongue tie, sore nipples for 3 months, 2 x lactation consultants, lots and lots of tears, 6 weeks of biting at 6 months, 6 x cases of mastitis, nipple thrush, vasospasm and lots of posts on this thread, I managed to BF my son until 15 months!!!!
He is now fully weaned and I want to thank everyone for your help along my rocky road. I am really glad I persevered on this journey as my son is so beautiful and very healthy. Congratulations.
Not sure if you are planning more children or not, but if you are, keep in mind, the next time could be super easy. I am on my 3rd child, and thought after my second I knew it all. Nope, got another totally new experience. |
