I am going to head into the WCH today for some of their famous teething gel and hope it helps (have never used it before) but was curious as to how long this pain will persist for him? His gums are so swollen, his face is puffy, he has diarrhea and a runny nose. Anyone know how long approx it took for them to fully cut through and stop hurting? |

My sympathies OP. We are going through this at the moment with DS2 (12.5 months).
I remember DS1 cut the top two, then the bottom two one at a time. The bottom two coming through took forever. He had two months where (for the most part) he was miseable, drooling constantly and slept miserably. With DS2 currently we are administering painkillers at night. Otherwise he takes hours to settle and is up every hour. I am hoping these teeth get a move on and cut already! |

My DD got all 4 molars within a week! She was miserable as you can imagine and now she is sick. This has probably been going on for a few weeks now. So i'm hoping she will be pain free soon.
Its so tough isn't it to see your little one in pain |

6-8 weeks per molar. But they didn't all come at once. We are into our third month of constant teething and only have the fourth molar to go.

Oh gods, why did I open this thread?? DS is into his 5th week of showing his usual signs of teething (drooling, chewing, irritability and pain) but no sign of blimmin' teeth. He was a terrible teether for the 8 he's already got and if molars are worse....shoot me now!
