Here is this weeks entry. I hardly ever edit, so thought I would play around today.

silverwattle, what editing did you do to the photo? That water looks beautifully refreshing. Have you had lots of hot weather there?

silverwattle & winkwink, in answer to your questions on Flickr about my closeness to the duck. We go to our local wetlands to feed the ducks and they come right up to you. Would eat the bread out of your hand if you wanted them too. laughing2.gif. Usually I need to step back from them to get the shot with my 100mm lens. That is my preferred lens for this type of shot. There would be at least 20 ducks standing right next to you and then another 50-100 other birds in the water and flying around. Quite incredible.

bryden, in answer to your brown eyed catchlight question, it is all about the light. Make sure you have the light behind you and try stopping down to f/4 or so.

Week 2 - we took a trip to Dangar Falls in Dorrigo last week. It was an overcast, rainy day but the drive and trek were totally worth it!

As an aside, here's a couple of snaps of me (taken with the iphone ) with my 2 and a half yo in the ergo on my back and the camera on front. DH was kind enough to carry my Christmas present for me - a Manfrotto tripod and ballhead!
