I had my first born in a BJ City Select and I bought the bassinette for him but we used it for about three months and then I moved him to the seat which was only recommended from 6months.
The next pram(BJ City Versa) I'm looking at buying for my next bub is only recommended from 6months but wondering if I should get the bassinet attachment or just go with the seat? I see so many mums just attaching their Baby car seat bassinette to prams and they don't lie flat so what's the difference really? |

I have used an older Mother's Choice pram since birth, and it doesn't recline all the way. My baby has never had any trouble sleeping in it.

I have. My premmie was in it. I just didn't see the point. The seat reclined enough to support her head. As she got older I just started adjusting it up until she could support her head.

We bought a Maclaren Vogue stroller, which is suitable from birth - it doesn't completely recline, but is pretty close, then you can just sit them up as they get older. My brother had one for his child - she is now 3.5 years old and they still use it for her! DS is 6 months old and was 2 days old the first time we used it for him, it's a lightweight, narrow but sturdy stroller and easy to fold up into the car.
