As of Wednesday I will be 7 wks and a few days ago my scan had a healthy heartbeat but I am concerned that it won't stick as my symptoms have been weak. No sickness, no sore breasts, no aversions to food or cravings and only mildly tired. I didn't have many symptoms to start with, only took a test on a hunch. Did anyone else have very few symptoms but still went on to have a healthy bub? I heard morning sickness is a sign that it will stick so no sickness has me concerned.

Very normal. Just consider yourself lucky if you feel well.
I felt pretty sick with mine but had days where the symptoms would disappear. Freaked me out every time but all was fine. |

QUOTE My symptoms have been really mild, and I've not vomited at all (though I've developed a great gag reflex for the 2nd trimester).I don't think symptoms are an indicator at all, some will get bad MS and go on to miscarry, others will get nothing and all will be fine. Hopefully everything will be fine, try to not stress to much. This post has been edited by Bluemakede: 06/01/2013, 10:44 AM |

Ritaroo, I am currently 32+ weeks pregnant. I knew I was pregnant before a missed period because my breasts inflated and my nipples changed colour.
Throughout my pregnancy, that has been my only 'symptom'. No morning sickness, no food aversions, no food cravings. None of the 'normal' pregnancy signs. My pregnancy has been unremarkable, and currently, bubs is squishing around. Symptoms are only a possibility, not something that should be expected. |

With my first pregnancies, I knew I was pregnant as I was quite ill.
With my 3rd pregnancy, I didn't even realise I was pregnant until I was 12 weeks, I really was symptom free - and that was twins. |

Thankyou for your replies. This is my first and I am just a bit worried. My mother had a miscarriage with her first and then was quite sick with her others. My sister said she was only physically sick once with my niece and it was rather uneventful. Just looking forward to the next scan so I can see the heartbeat.

My first 3 pregnancies I was sick until the day I gave birth, I could barely keep anything down with the twins. This time, barely any sickness, occasional sore boobs and food aversions. And I have got twins on board again! Pregnancies are all so very different.

I am in the same boat, OP. I haven't had a scan yet (booked for wednesday morning) but the lack of symptoms bothers the hell out of me.
I have positive results on 2 HPT, a positive HCG from the Dr with a decent number. I feel like my only symptoms are a lack of period and a tendency to fall asleep while watching TV. I don't find it reassuring to remember that last time I had no MS till 11 weeks. I convince myself that every internal twinge is a sign of doom and not normal, even though it is. I am trying to just distract myself and use positive thinking (tell myself I'm growing a healthy baby) to get through it. Everyone told me last time that the worry once he was out would be worse than the pregnancy worry, but so far I disagree with that. Only 33 weeks or so of paranoia to go. |

I know what this feels like. I did not have any symptoms throughout my pregnancy. This used to worry me as I almost wanted morning sickness for reassurance. You are probably just lucky so enjoy it. I have a happy and healthy 4 month old baby boy now so it all worked out in the end.

I'm another one that's had symptomless pregnancies. Aside from lack of AF I have never experienced any other symptoms. I'm currently on my 4th pregnancy, but only have one DD, so I stress about not having symptoms as well, but the pregnancy with her didn't start any different with my last pregnancies ending in miscarriages.
My sister also had a symptomless pregnancy and now has a healthy 2 month old baby girl. |
