Ok mummies & daddies
Time to spill the beans on your best parenting tips for new parents. So much experience is out there and I want to hear all about it. Thought I'd kick it off with a tip for nappy rash, baby had a bad case after I was on a course of antibiotics (I exclusively bf) All natural cure (thanks to a tip from my mum about coconut oil) At each nappy change: Salt water rinse Followed by fresh water Pat dry (don't rub because it would hurt!) Coconut oil instead of usual moo goo nappy cream (coconut oil has natural anti fungal properties) Cloth nappy on Daily: Water only bathing morning & night Dry & 20 minutes of nudie time (no nappy... Be prepared that there maybe an accident or two Cleared up within 48 hours This post has been edited by Leafprincess: 06/01/2013, 10:00 AM |

My best advise would be - do what works for you! Don't listen to people that tell you to change what your doing or don't agree with the way you do things. Everyone/babies are different and what works for you or someone else may not work for another.
Go with your instincs and enjoy your bub while their little as they really do grow up too quickly! |
