Hi People,
We have been on the hunt for a new sofa for a while now and fínally bit the bullet and purchased a gorgeous italian sofa by Erba for 7k including scotchguarding down from 11k (display model). We thought this was a great price and allowed us to look past the fact that it was fabric and White! The alternative was b&b italia charles in dark grey,which was a good 5k more and for the record uncomfortable. Our Erba is amazingly comfortable and looks beautiful too. This is the pic below Now, we have got it scotchguarded but with a toddler and baby this may not be enough. Would a slip cover look awful? What idea do people have or was this a total mistake buying this with young kids?! |

Personally, with that sort of outlay, I'd be investing in some custom made washable slip covers. If it's made to fit it will look fine.
