I have been experiencing lower stomach and back pain since yesterday . It lasts for a while then goes and comes back again . I have never had this in my two other pregnancies . It does feel like really really bad period pain . Has Anyone else experienced this ?

It is most probably just uncomfortable Braxton Hicks which have a tendancy to be quite painful with subsequent children but I think you should call your caregiver in the morning and let them know.
In the meantime if you have any increased vaginal loss then you should go into the ED immediately. Good luck. |

I had a lot more Braxton Hicks with DS and they were more painful. You could try timing it to see if there is a pattern, your caregiver will probably ask if there is a pattern.

Its hard to know. Could be braxton hicks or urine infection. Either way I would go the doctor in the morning or if its really bad ED tonight.

I had about 2 days of exactly what's you were talking about. Spoke to my midwife who said its probably just my uterus stretching. Went to GP who said the same but thought it might have been a UTI and put me on some antibiotics. The pain went after having the antibiotics but my urine test was ok. Went to see my regular GP who didn't think too much about it either.
Last night I had a similar crampy feel in my back - mainly on one side. It lasted a while and didn't come back after I stretched it. I had been lying down on my side and got up quick to make dinner. I felt the baby jiggling around after this too, so she might have been pinching a nerve. No idea. Could have been Braxton hicks too. If yours is lasting a while best to see your doctor or talk to your OB or midwife. |

Thanks ladies for your responses . The stomach pain has pretty much gone which is what I was more worried about . But if it does return and the pain is as bad as yesterday I will definitely go see my gp .
