Isabelle was one of my top 5 names (along with the rest of the world) and I think I prefer the look of the spelling Isabelle.

What is your thoughts - Isabelle, Isabel or Isobel?

If a cat doesn't like you, then what's wrong with you?
I really like Isobel, then Isabel, then Isabelle. Even though it's popular I do like the name.

I prefer Isobel because that's how my great Aunt spelt her name. I think Isabelle is the most popular spelling choice.

Isabel is my favourite. I like how simple and tailored it looks. The -lle is a bit fluttery. If I were Scottish I might embrace the "o" for authenticity but I'm not and I feel it would look contrived.

Isabel all the way for me! But it's usually not very popular in these polls. original.gif

EDIT: I also think that, handwritten, Isabel looks a little bit more distinct from Isabella, whereas Isabelle looks most similar. I wouldn't care that much about that except for Isabella being SO popular.

There are no stupid questions. Only stupid people.
I prefer Isobel. To me it has a different pronunciation than Isabel and Isabelle.
