We can only agree on one middle name, a family name that flows like magic with both first names. Is it too weird to give them the same middle name?

Don't see a problem with it. Its not as if middle names are used very often.

Don't crowd Sir Walter, Edmund.
My nanna is a twin and has the same middle name as her twin brother. It's her mother's maiden name.

It's not something I would do, but I don't see a problem.

At 9 weeks you have plenty of time left to discuss it. I am curious though, how you've decided on names when you have no genders yet?

Wouldn't be something I'd do - they already share a fair bit and much more than two other siblings would have to share.

Having said that, if you love it and it feels right then go for it rolleyes.gif

On principle, I think you could do it, but without knowing the first names it's hard to say for sure how it would sound. I'm guessing that the names are under wraps for now though.
An alternative would be to use a family name from the other side of the family for the second twin's middle name.
And I thought naming one baby was hard! blush.gif

Nothing weird about that. No different from both having both surnames; same thing, same two family names each following their own first given name.

I have no issue with it. My children have the same middle name, a family name that I also share with them.

I have the same middle name as my twin sister. Dont see any problem with it. They share a womb why not share a middle name?
