Earlier this week DH and I were at the servo filling up the car and I caught a quick wiff of the petrol fumes as it wofted through the window and it was HEAVEN! I broke out in goosebumps and very much wanted to stick my face next to the pump (Which I wouldn't ever do).
But since then I've been craving the smell on and off all week. I was a mechanic back in the day and always liked the smell of petrol but never had the urge to smell it out of work hours. I feel a bit weird actually!

Is this abnormal? unsure.gif Same as WD40 which hubby lubed up the doors with.

I got like that with both my pregnancies. It freaked me out big time. Any strong chemically smells (petrol, WD40, permanent markers) smelt wonderful.

I loved the smell of really cold air conditioning. I would take really deep breaths of it. I can't really smell that particular smell anymore unless I'm nauseous, and then I'm sucking in lungfuls again!

I was the same in my second pregnancy. It smelt amazing. Different to usual. I would get upset if my husband fueled the car without me.
