I always thought it was ex demonstrators selling off stuff or people selling stuff they got free or no longer want, so effectively 2nd hand therefore cheaper

I was originally looking on Ebay for ex demo and second hand but there are many many many sellers from Malaysia selling new complete Modular Mates sets. They have 1000+ sales with 100% feedback. I was just curious if anyone has gone this way?

I've bought lots of Tupperware from Malaysian sellers. Exactly the same as the stuff I bought locally but at a fraction of the price.

My mum buys lots of the ebay Malaysian Tupperware. I don't know if it is real or fake but she's been happy with it.

I once brought a garlic press for $5, instead of $50 from a china/hong kong seller.

It was exactly the same however did not have the tuperwear logo, which would have costed me the $50.

It was great, prefect style. However after 12 months it broke.

I was so tempted to buy the $50 one just so I could get the lifetime warrenty but we just dont have that sort of money to spend on a garlic press.

Amazingly they dont sell the ones form Hong Kong/China anymore.

Tupperware from Malaysia is genuine, I have purchased heaps without any issues. Always try and purchase something that has been available in Australia otherwise you will have trouble with the warranty.

Technically you don't get a lifetime warranty if you buy it from eBay or similar, you only get the warranty if you buy it from a demonstrator here. Not sure how they check it but if you turn up to a party and you are asked where you brought it from and say online the demonstrator will not take it in to be fixed. Also a demonstrator can be kicked out of Tupperware for selling on an eBay store.
