I'm not pg yet :-) but contemplating a name for a future 3rd child, if anyone would like to play along.

My DS is Asher Joel and my DD is Bethany Joy. Looking at both of these names, I think I like 'softer' names as opposed to strong names (maybe it is the 'sh/th' sound). I also like the names to be reasonably uncommon but not strange (so even if most people don't know someone with the name, they still recognise it as a name).

I'd prefer the name to not end with the same sound as DS or DD (so no names ending in 'er' or 'ee')

I'd also love to give a future DD the middle name Ruth.

Thanks!!

Because of its cultural baggage/issues I'm not really going to say this is cool just to get a C name? But the C theme was okay otherwise.

Anyway:

Boys:
Crispin
Corbin
Cassius (pr. Cash-us is my favourite)
Tobias
Cyrus/Silas
Gareth
Shane, but maybe better as a middle
Theodore

Girls
Sinead/Saoirse - great sound, don't know if it works culturally/spelling-ly.
Charlotte
I would have said Meredith or Judith but not with Ruth.
Sybil, Sybilla
Claire
Theodora
Thalassa
Cecelia
