Hi guys,

I've looked through the forums for some help and info in the past and have just made the decision after a couple of weeks to finally join as it looks like a great place!

My hubby and I are currently in our first cycle of ICSI after TTC for 4 years.

We've told our family and friends that we were using IVF, but havent told them any more details after our egg pick up, as we'd like to treat any pregnancy like a 'normal' couple would - making the announcement at 12 weeks etc. Not having everyone know what day I have to have blood tests and then making all the phone calls if it's not successful etc.

It'll be great now to have more people to talk to and especially people that have gone through / are going through the same thing.

So.... long story short, hello and can't wait to get to know you

Ahhh, the waiting really is THE worst part! I found it best to keep busy.....but that's always easier said than done! I hope you get some good news on the 23rd. It was actually almost a relief when we found out something was a little 'off', because then we had somewhere to go with it all..the not knowing (and the waiting), its the worst! I'll keep my fingers crossed original.gif

Thank you! I'm ready to scream it from the rooftops already, so I think it'll be good to have people I can talk to in the mean time - I can't believe how friendly and helpful everyone is, it's really wonderful! original.gif
