I have a few names that I like and was just hoping you guys could give me some similar feeling names.
I feel I will be having a boy, so that is my focus, but I've listed girls as well. I have DS Edward (Eddie) Noel W... (Very uncommon, german surname). Boy: Middle name will be Paul. Favourite name is Thomas. It is a family name and I like the way it flows the same as Edward and has similar range of nickname (Tom, Tommy). I hate that it is so popular. Other names I like: Frederick (Don't think I can have a Fred and an Ed) Alfred (Nick name Alfie) Damien (Hate Damo though) Ronan Girl: Middle name will be Ashlee Front runner is Elisabeth, nick name Elsie which is a family name. I love Lillian (Lily) but it is way too popular! Other names: Audrey DH would love to have a girl Natalie, Natalia or similar which in NMS. |

I think you have your boy name. I think Edward and Alfred is perfect. Also Alf/Alfie for the NN is really good.
Others: Patrick (NN Paddy) Timothy Daniel For a girl I think Elisabeth is a great fit too. There's no way for me though that Elsie as NN does it justice. I love Lizzie or Beth. Other girls': Elspeth Alice Catherine (NN Kitty) Love the suggestion of Bridget. NN could be Bridie. This post has been edited by Gudrun: 04/01/2013, 09:56 AM |

I love Damien and Ronan. Alfred is all right too.
Elisabeth is nice but I dislike Elsie. My favourite nicknames for Elisabeth would be: Libby, Betty, or Lilibet. I love Lillian, but I also like Liliana, Lilith, and Lilwen. |

Thanks for the feedback everyone.
Thomas Paul feels right but I just have this fear of him being Tom W all his life. It was number 8 in top baby names in NSW 2011 and 5 the year before so up there. Arthur (Artie) and Evelyn (Evie)? I like Arthur. I'll add it to my list. Alfred is a family name on my side, which is a bonus. I pick names because I like them but having family history is a big bonus. Edward is on both mine and DH's family tree and so is the various forms of Frederick. Like Patrick as well, but it is out since it is the name of my less than favourite uncle. Elspeth I like in theory, but I have a lisp so it sounds so wrong when I say it. Thomas Paul goes well, I don't think its as popular at the moment I wouldn't do Frederick Alfie would be ok, what about William or Henry Elisabeth Ashlee is nice Lillian or Lilyanna aren't that popular Audrey is ok others Catherine Alice Mary Victoria Isabella and Charlotte Natalie and Natalia are pretty - love them Charlotte is another good one. Great nicknames for it as well. From your lists I would choose your favourites Thomas Paul and Elizabeth Ashlee. Have you considered? BOYS Edward Noel and Lyle Paul Edward Noel and Raymond Paul Edward Noel and Benjamin Paul Edward Noel and Wesley Paul Edward Noel and Stuart Paul GIRLS Edward Noel and Sarah Ashlee Edward Noel and Lydia Ashlee Edward Noel and Camilla Ashlee Edward Noel and Susannah Ashlee Edward Noel and Rebecca Ashlee Edward Noel and Adelaide Ashlee Edward Noel and Amelia Ashlee Edward Noel and Freya Ashlee Edward Noel and Millicent Ashlee Edward Noel and Florence Ashlee Amelia is nice. Millicent is one I am surpirsed to say I think I like as well. No way could I sell DH on it though. All W names are out (especially William This post has been edited by WinterDancesHere: 05/01/2013, 10:35 PM |
