We have a small fluffy and she is just on 18 months old. She is totally house trained and has been since almost a pup. She will go to the door during the day and go out and do her business with no problems.

Now here is the problem .... She sleeps in the laundry at night with the door shut and has done since a pup. We take her to the loo before we go to bed and she will go out and do a wee and usually is fine until morning. Well not any more !

The last two nights she has done a wee and poo and this morning when we got up she had done a massive wee.

Has anyone got any suggestions ?? It's driving us crazy ... oh she is not crated in the laundry.

I am wondering if its really hot where you currently are? Because if it is, she'll be drinking a lot more than usual, and may need an additional pitstop in the middle of the night. Although its a pain, I'd try having one person let her out again about 2 hours after her bed time, and another person do another pitstop two hours before wake-up time. Once you can work out which end of the night she's going, you can adjust your timing, and then work at stretching the pit stops back to 'normal' times.

Also, clean the floor with Napisan, BioZet or Urine Off so there are no "pee/poo here" messages left on the tiles or in the grout. For a laundry floor, I'd go Urine Off, its heavy duty, but really does remove the scent.

Have you thought about crating her at night time?

We do this with our three dogs, they are mainly outside so not house trained, but inside during bad weather at night. They never ever go in their crates so it works out well.

Also agree with PP, she may be drinking more at the moment due to the heat.

Get up through the night and take her out. She obviously can't hold on at the moment.
