Like the title says. When AF was due for me I really thought she would turn up at any minute I had cramping and pms. When it didn't show and I got my BFP I still had cramping although its getting less now. Mostly in my lower back like AF but lighter. Has anyone else got this still? It's making me worry a lot even though I read its normal.

Also when does morning sickness start? How dumb to worry about not having morning sickness I know but I read its better to have it. A healthier pregnancy?..

I haven't felt any cramps, but m/s doesn't usually start for me until 8-10 weeks in. I have heard some people never get sick at all but still have healthy babies though.

I am still quite crampy with a constant backache Tigerlilly.

With DS the m/s kicked in at 6weeks and lasted until about 17-18weeks but it is different for everyone. As horrible as it was it was reassuring IYKWIM.

Hi OP,
I was having cramp like feelings on my sides from virtually as soon as I had found out. My doc did say it is very normal as your body starts very early on preparing itself for bubby, in saying this, it did not ease my mind I still worry although ironically on Wednesday it started to settle with now just the odd twinge here and there yay lol!
Also, my cramp like feelings were more like I had pulled a muscle as opposed to period pains, is this what your feeling?
I will tell you though after orgasming you can cramp a little and get this weird feeling but I've asked the girls on here who say it is all normal so don't worry to much about that either, mine settled about 20 - 30 minutes after with no spotting or bleeding.
I hope this is helpful, sounds like your a little like me where it's hitting a little harder than some

I guess I should stop worrying about everything. It's hard not to when you have never been PG before every twitch, ache or tug makes you worry!

ETA GMC88 yes! Like sometimes feels like I have a stitch too! And I felt that stitch feeling from about 9 dpo I think. But sometimes it just feels like light AF ones too.

I get cramps too. It was actually what made me think I was pregnant, as I had what I thought was my AF a week early, but it was just a 4 day long implantation bleed. Cramps were one of my few symptoms last time too. They lasted about two days and now it's the occasional twinge and backache here and there. I wouldn't worry unless you were bleeding at all, it's just your body preparing itself.

Yep I'm getting quite a few 'twangs' and mild cramps, as well as stitch like feelings and and mild back ache.

It was worse in the first week but seems to be settling down now....No M/S yet and I'm 5weeks 5 days today.

I've been getting them on and off. I'm told it's normal. But it still worries me a bit.

It's my first pregnancy too. I was crampy on and off for a few weeks or so after I found out 3w6d. My morning sickness kicked in at 5w4d and so far hasn't really stopped 26w1d. Just about everyone i've spoken too tells me they were never sick at all - no fair!!

*this came up in recent topics - which is why i posted, not realizing it's the wrong dig... baby brain... lol
