Book in and have a chat with Kaleeya Hospital in East Fremantle. They tend to let you try for a vaginal birth as you are in the care of midwives but its something you will discuss with them being it would be a VBA2C.
I havnt needed a c/s and the care is great and couldnt fault them so highly recommended! |

Im in exactly the same position as you, apparently King Edward will do it, but not without fully informing you of the risks etc. My doc said it isnt easy in Perth to find anyone that is keen on doing it..but that was one opinion...I would be interested to hear how you get on

I spoke to KEMH on Monday, and the midwife said I'm a good candidate for a VBA2C and to send in my referral which I've done. She said she didn't see a problem with me being accepted into the NBAC clinic. I believe that because its a public clinic, they can't actually refuse to take you on.

KEMH were very supportive of my VBAC. I would recommend asking for the portable monitoring unit (telemetry) early though, if they still only have a couple of units.
