... you get excited about a referral that was meant to take 9 months to get an appointment and is now only a 4 week wait.

And

... it has only taken til your child is 6.5 yo (certain since 22 months old) to get a specialist to think you might be onto something, and agreeing to look into it all.

What a sad life I have ohmy.gif

That IS exciting and worth being happy about though!! Finally being heard and having your "funny feelings" recognised/confirmed is very good, but also overwhelming.

Hopefully your DS will now get the help/support he obviously needs, good luck.

Not sure what referal if for but YAY for you getting it earlier!

I know I have no life when I look forward to a trip to my local coles to chat to the check out ladies and lady at the post office.

You tell your friends not to bother helping you tidy up after a messy play-date... you like to re-organise the kids toys while they are sleeping (DD's doll house in particular!)

I thought I was the only person that did this! Though I prefer organising the toy kitchen.
