My partner and I have been quite intimate as of late a little more than usual as we have just found out that we are 5 weeks pregnant
Last night I had an orgasm and the contractions afterward were weird, then today same thing
Are these okay to have?
If so how come its so much easier?

It's fine unless you have been told by your doctor to avoid it for specific reasons.

Yep, this is what my OB told me. We went more crazy in the third trimester, and I'm pretty sure that the last one I had brought on DS.

I read once it's actually good for you in an otherwise low risk healthy pregnacy.
All that extra blood flowing down their is great for your expanding growing uterus.
And the orgasims exercise and strengthen the uterus in preparation for contractions,

Some of my best sex was during pregnacy.

Extra blood and extra array of hormones makes things rather sensitive and exciting biggrin.gif .

Thanks all, I had done a search on here trying to find where someone had asked the same question but no luck so as embarrassing as it is I would rather ask the question than sit here in a panic!!

OP - I had sex early on and ended up with a small bleed the next day. I don't know whether the two are related, but my placenta was low. I don't know whether this affected it. We haven't done it since and will wait until the baby is out before trying again, just in case.

This was at 14 weeks though. At 5 weeks though a lot of people may not even know they are pregnant yet. I'm sure you would be ok. But check with your doctor if you are worried about those contraction/cramping feelings.
