DS has too many games on the iPad. I'd like to keep them all on my computer and have one or two on rotation on the iPad.
I've deleted most of them off the iPad, but when I open up iTunes on my computer, but I don't see option to select which ones I want to sync to the iPad, like I can with songs. Is it possible? TIA |

There is an option to manually sinc everything, I believe it is on the front page when you open iTunes. I do this so that nothing sincs unless I go in and manually tick the box and then update.
I don't have my device here so I can't open iTunes to check, but it is definately able to be done |

We have the option ticked to manually sync as well so we choose what goes on what device.

I am not sure why you would need to do that if you can't use them on pc of anyway. If you click on the app store icon on the iPad and click on purchased you can easily add things back to your iPad that have been deleted.

Ah...didn't think to look in the purchased page. Thought I had to keep a copy of the app on my computer and sync it over to the iPad when I wanted to use it. Thanks.

This is the way I'd do it - if you have already purchased it you can just add them back whenever you like. I'm not sure if you need the password to do this though so depending on your child's age they might be able to do it on their own! |

In iTunes, when you click on the device, there is a tab called Apps, and here you can sync only what is ticked. Otherwise you can do it manually by dragging to the device, but if you then go to sync it, you want to make sure you've ticked the right apps. Either way, pick the method you're going to continue to use as it's a pain to swap between manual and syncing.

Once you've bought them they are yours
But have you thought of grouping your apps into folders? |

I was also going to suggest folders on the ipad.
Cooper has a schools app folder and a games folder. It makes it clearer of what can be used where and when. I also just delete them for more space and pop them back on if needed. Cheers bron |
