Hi All,

Up until now I have been posting in the OPK, HPT, BFP section!

I am not sure even if this is the right section (if its not, please redirect me!) but I received a call from my doctor yesterday saying she is very happy as my HCG levels have more than doubled within 48 hours! Sooooooo excited! I have such a good feeling about this! BFP.gif

Next step is our ultrasound which we have booked in and I will be 7 weeks exactly that day, hopefully this is far enough along to hear a heart beat? My doctor said I could go early but she doesnt want me to panic if they cant hear or see the beat yet LOL...she knows me to well!

Today I am officially 5 weeks and while it is still early on, have you ever just had that calm feeling that everything is going to be ok this time?

So excited!

Also, who creates the due in groups? Can one be created for September as I am due on 7 September and I have also read a few other posts where others are due in September...Do they normally wait until its around 3 months in before creating the group?

That's fantastic news! I am currently in the 2ww so hopefully will be joining you!

I had a 7/8 wk scan with my first (ivf) but can't remember a heartbeat, only that it was like a bean. Sorry!

Congrats to you, how exciting and its great you have the sense of calm that everything will be ok. I am 15 weeks today and I wish I could feel that calmness, but I'm a natural worrier so thats not going to go away.

I was 7 weeks 2 days when we went for our first ultrasound and we heard the heartbeat good and strong... was great because up until that i didnt truely believe I was pg. Also yes at that stage it does just look like a little bean, well we thought a peanut but same shape really, we still call it the peanut. When our OB did a scan at 10 weeks it looked like a baby, actually we could not believe how much it had changed in 3 weeks.... enjoy biggrin.gif

Congratulations! original.gif

I saw a HB at 8 weeks with DS, I'm sure other members will be able to tell you more about what to expect at a 7 week scan though.

The radiographer saw my bub's heartbeat at 6 weeks, it was such a tiny flicker I couldn't see it myself. She even measured it.
