Hi EBers!
We haven't found out the sex yet, but have been thinking about names. I think we have our girls name pretty much decided, and we're maybe 80% sure on our boys name, which is Luca. I'm not really after thoughts on it, but rather looking for ideas on middle names. We like Oliver, which also has family meaning for us, but not sure it goes. Other idea was Alexander, but I'm not sure if Luca really needs a consonant after it...?I like Benjamin too, but it's my brother's name, and I have three brothers so not sure if choosing one would be a great idea! I guess I like a longer middle name, or also open to two middle names, as that is a sort of family tradition. Surname is Grounds, if that helps. I'm also sort of thinking Lucas works better, but I do prefer Luca... Thanks for any suggestions |

I think Lucas goes better with your surname and your right I wouldn't use your brothers name
um I with Oliver and Alexander you'd have initials Lag/log perhaps Nicholas Christopher Zachary Jeremiah Zachariah Josiah Nathaniel Timothy Thomas |

Just choose the name that holds significance for you. I don't think it matters that it 'flows' or sounds right.
My son's name is Luka and his middle name is Anthony. |

I know you don't want thoughts on the name luca but to me it's a girls name. I think Lucas Oliver is great though.

Hi OP
Congratulations! You must be getting excited to meet your new bundle now! I LOVE the name Lucas/Luca. I was reading your post and the other posts and then had a thought, what if you use your hubby's name or his middle name as bubby's middle name? I am not sure if it flows but then in all honesty if you say a name over and over it sinks in and really how often do you first hear of a baby's name and people say 'oh thats different I do agree with a PP whereby I dont think you should use a sibling's name when there is more than one. Probably not much help really Mrs GMC88 x |

My DS's name is Luca and his middle name is Adam. I did worry about the A ending and the A beginning but Adam is a family name on both sides and I didn't want to miss the opportunity to use it should I have not had another boy!!
I also love your other suggestion of Benjamin. That's my DS3's middle name so we're on the same naming wave length!!! I dislike the name Lucas. My husband wanted it originally but I put my foot down and wouldn't lift it!! From your list I'd go Luca Benjamin. Fantastic name. |

With your surname, I would go with Lucas. Otherwise it sounds like "look at the grounds"
My first thought was Luca Benjamin, but I see it is your brothers name. Suggestions: Luca Regan Luca Thomas Luca Sebastian Luca Jared Luca Zachary |
