Has anyone on EB actually bought the Wonderweek book? There is a artical on it on the front page and i noticed that you can buy the book on ipad too, we have one of them but i i have never used ibook etc.

Im more a traditional buy a book and have it kind of girl....

Anyway would you buy a book now even with the ipad apps? Or not? If you have bought the book, where is it the cheapest to buy? Cheers.

I bought it when my DD was about 4 months old and wish I had it from the beginning, I have found it really useful.
I now have a 19 week DS and have referred to it numerous times. I didn't have an iPad when DD was born (I don't even think they were around) so can't say anything in regards to it on iBooks.
I am a bit Old school with books, but that's just me.

I bought the book from book depository. I buy it for all friends when they become new parents. It is honestly one of the best things I bought.

Every time we were at the end of our tether with DD we would open the book in desperation and there would be our situation written on the page. Knowing its normal, and the good things about each leap, did make things a lot easier.

I think it's also great for breastfeeding. It seems like a lot of women get disheartened and feel like they have low supply etc when it's just a wonder week that you can ride out with some extra sucking time and a bit of patience. The book gives you an alternative explanation for baby fussiness instead of just blaming the breastfeeding which is what happens a lot I think.

DD didn't always following the exact timeline (although it was pretty close!) but reading through the book was great. I learnt so much about infant development and understood my baby a lot more. For this reason I do think the book does have a lot of benefit over the website. Not sure what the app is like but I found the book great to flick through.

Wow they should really pay me for such a good review!

Spotty, I have the app and from what I can gather, it's like a summary of the book.

You enter your child's due date and it tells you when you're in a leap or how many days to go till the next one, plus has info on signs to watch for, the abilities they might gain from the leap and also what you can do to help them through the leap.

I had the app and the calendar. I found it really useful. I'm sure the book would have more info, though. I suppose it depends how deeply you want to delve into it.

I had the calendar up on the fridge, for easy reference. It rang true for us with DS

I ordered the book from the website PP suggested.

I looked into the app and i dont have a iphone just a samsung, so the ibook was for ipad, and it was $13, the book was only $25. This way i can pass the book onto someone when im done with it Cant do that with a ibook i dont think....
