DH and I are pretty much set on Evangeline (nn Evie) Winter if this baby is a girl. So I did a quick google search as you do to see what come up and the first site is apparently NYC's largest fetish producer huh.gif

Would this be a deal breaker on a name for you? Never heard of this company personally but I guess it's not really my scene so I don't really know how popular it is and what it's longevity will be.

Search hard enough and you'll find something to put you off almost any name.
I wouldn't worry about it - it's pretty obscure.

PS really like the names.

No it wouldn't put me off. Evangeline (Evie) was on my list too - DH vetoed it. We went with Genevieve (still with the nn Evie).

Gorgeous name!

If you were based in the states it may make me consider it carefully but since you are in Australia I think it wouldn't be an issue unless they had a huge online presence.

Nah..

Too obscure - and Evangeline is too lovely to ignore!

There is a 'glamour' model with my exact name! I like to link her website to my facebook page - gives my friends a bit of a giggle.

This was my concern, while I personally hadn't heard of them I was worried others might have and be the first association they made when they heard the name.
