Hi,
I guess we still have plenty of time to decide on the name, but I know that the next 13 weeks are going to fly buy. I'm keen for some outside opinions of the names on our list to date. In no particular order they are: Jasper Milo Finlay Xavier Orlando DD is Willow - I think our list so far is reflective of working well with that? Are there any others that are similar that I haven't though about maybe? TIA |

Don't think Orlando/Milo and Willow go well together (bit rhymey)- the rest do though. I much prefer the other names anyway. My fave is Finlay followed by Xavier and Jasper. Love the nickname Finn.
The only think that puts me off Xavier is lack of nickname (except for maybe Xave) and the fact that some people say EX-Zavier (these 2 things might not bother you though!) ETA - forgot to add suggestions: Samuel or Samson Leo Alexander Jeremy Evan This post has been edited by VanillaIcecream: 02/01/2013, 01:07 PM |

Willow and Jasper is perfect.
Finlay goes OK. I wouldn't pick Milo or Orlando because the 'o' is sounding the same as the Willow ending but's a different one still. They just don't fit for me. Xavier seems like a different style of name so I wouldn't pick that either. Jasper, Milo and Finlay are among my favourite names but the pick here would definitely be Jasper. Finlay would be my pick although he will get nn Finn & Finn & Flyn are very popular at the moment so it's a bit to common for me. Sorry but I really dislike all your other names. I do like Evan as someone else mentioned.
