Im not asking about me right now, i am just wondering what prelabour was like for others.
Im sitting here and bored lol. Im 37w this Friday. With DD i just went into spontanious labour, with my waters breaking at 39weeks, i didnt have any indication (apart from a small mucus plus - in hindsight 48hrs before waters breaking) Are there things you noticed that happened to you before you went into labour? More braxtons? Any other symptoms. spottydog. |

Hi Spotty!!!
Cant believe your 37 weeks already?!?! Where did that time go.. maybe its gone slow for you though?? How very exciting. With DD I had pre labour for about a week and a half before hand. My braxton hicks which I would get occasionally began to appear more frequently and were stronger. In the week and a half prior to real labour, Id have many a night where contractions (or braxton tightenings) would happen regularly every 10mins down to every 5 mins then fizzle out. This would happen for about 4-6 hours at a time. So on the day I did actually go into labour, I didn't know.. and just thought it was braxtons playing tricks on me again... until I got to hospital and was 6cm. My waters never broke. Other than that, no other indications. Hope all goes well! |
