Im really interested in doing a few states in the USA via a road trip in a camper van or a motorhome. We will be 2 adults and 2 kids both in carseats. I'm wondering if anyone has done this as I'm having trouble finding a motor home that could suit us - would DH drive and would me and the 2 kids have to sit in the back? I'm not quite sure of how it works. Any companies you can suggest ?

Try cruise America. Most should have car seat points. Obviously you will want one that you can talk to the driver still.
We did 3 mths, but we had our own car and caravan. |

Have you considered hiring a fifth wheeler ( kind of like a caravan but way better and easier to tow ) and truck?
http://www.google.ca/search?q=fifth+wheel+...600&bih=775 Hopefully this link works so you can get an idea as to what I'm talking about. Another upside to a fifth wheeler is that you can park it at your RV park/campground, unhitch and drive around town. You'll save fuel etc. |
