I have moved and am still waiting on a parcel at my old address. When it arrives can it be redirected to my new address or will I have to pay for it? I cannot pick it up from my old place as it is too far away. It is a large parcel so it will be expensive to send.

I am not sure. I have heard that re-direct only really works on letters and not parcels so much. Have you called the local post office where it will be likely dropped off for collection and ask them to re-direct it to your address? I imagine you'll have to pay for this unfortunately.

Have you spoken to the new owners/tenants about it? I had an unexpected parcel just left on the front door step of my old house. Fortunately the new owners called the agent who called me, and I was able to get someone to pick it up. If they had said nothing though, then they could have kept it and I would be none the wiser.

new owners should be able to scribble out their adfdress and write the new address and it will get to you.
